Kitchener LTC Redevelopment
369 Frederick Street Kitchener, ON
peopleCare is pleased to share that the Ministry of Long-Term Care has awarded us 80 new long-term care beds, enabling us to redevelop AR Goudie in Kitchener. When construction of a new 128-bed addition is complete, the redeveloped Home will include a total of 208 LTC beds.
As part of a long-planned campus, the Home will anchor our vision to create a vibrant community of care that helps local seniors to live and age well, and more independently, with their needs met by a range of housing options, services and community based health and social supports, all in one place.
peopleCare AR Goudie, and the beautiful Frederick Street property on which it stands, is part of a long and rich history of helping those in the community who need support. The current building is of significant cultural and architectural value and built in 1993. AR Goudie LTC became a part of the peopleCare family in 2013.
